Hours

  • Spring, Fall, and Winter: Open daily when campus is open. Campus holidays excepted.
  • Summer (June 24 – September 11): Open Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed Fridays
  • Admission to the garden is free.
  • CSUSB Parking Services will provide complimentary "Demonstration Garden" parking permits that will be valid in any unmarked space in Parking Lot G. These special permits will be available to any person who stops at any one of our Information Centers (University Parkway or Coyote Drive) and informs our staff that they are on campus to visit the Demonstration Garden. The Information Centers are open Monday – Thursday 7:00 am to 8:30 pm; Friday 7:00 am to 7:00 pm; Saturday and Sunday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. The only time the centers will not be open is between the hours of 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. During that one hour gap, Parking Services will not enforce parking permits in Lot G. The only other times the centers will be closed are during holidays and campus closures. During those times parking will not be enforced in Lot G.
  • All visitors to the garden must stop at the Coyote Drive - Information Center (IC-2 ) to obtain a complimentary parking permit.

  • Cesar E. Chavez Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Veteran's Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Winter Break

Directions

From Highway 215, traveling northbound, take University Street off-ramp in San Bernardino. At bottom of ramp, turn right to travel north/northeast. After approximately 1 mile, turn right onto Northpark Boulevard. Turn left onto Coyote Drive and stop at the Information Center (IC-2 ) to obtain a complimentary parking permit for Parking Lot G . Garden entrance is marked, just north of Parking Lot G, as you enter the college grounds from the parking lot.

From Highway 215, traveling southbound, take University Street off-ramp in San Bernardino. At bottom of ramp, turn left to travel north/northeast.   • Ontario International Airport: Take I-10 East, to I-215 North. Exit at University Parkway in San Bernardino and turn right.
  • Los Angeles International Airport: Take I-405 North, to I-10 East, to I-215 North. Exit at University Parkway in San Bernardino and turn right.
  • Pasadena: Take I-210 East to I-215 North. Exit at University Parkway in San Bernardino and turn right.
  • Orange County: Take Highway 91 East, which becomes I-215 North in Riverside. Continue on I-215, and exit at University Parkway in San Bernardino and turn right.
  • Riverside: Take Highway 91 East, which becomes I-215 North in Riverside. Continue on I-215, and exit at University Parkway in San Bernardino and turn right.
  • High Desert areas: Take I-15 South, to I-215 South. Exit at University Parkway in San Bernardino and turn left.
  • Palm Springs area: Take I-10 West, to I-215 North. Exit at University Parkway in San Bernardino and turn right.
  • San Diego area: Take I-15 North, to I-215 North. Exit at University Parkway in San Bernardino and turn right.
